Automated ultrasonic testing line (UT) for gas cylinders or pipes. System loading and unloading are automatic. The load can be both front and side. The machine is custom designed for the customer’s product range. Upon arrival of the piece, the machine automatically adapts to the dimensions of the incoming cylinder: just enter the diameter and length in advance (automatically via our measuring devices or manually by the operator via the touchscreen panel) and the machine components are arrange them in the correct positions. This automatic updating system is very suitable for cylinder re-testing lines, but also for companies that want to optimize the adjustment times of the systems to the maximum when changing the product format in production. The system is modular, in fact by combining it with the other GOMG devices such as the loading and unloading tilting units, the belts and the length and diameter gauges, a totally automatic testing line can be created.
In the automated ultrasonic testing line, if the cylinder does not pass the test it is declared rejected by the system and automatically discharged in a pre-established position.
