The painting loading/unloading line is a completely automatic system for high-pressure gas cylinders consisting of two units: one for loading and one for unloading.
Each unit is independent and consists of a motorized roller conveyor with tilting rubber rollers with built-in self-centering grippers.
The pliers obviously, in addition to holding the cylinder firmly, have a particular shape that allows the cylinder to be centered on the radius, so the axis of the cylinders, regardless of their diameter, will always be at the same distance from the rollers.
To ensure an excellent grip and centering, two hydraulic cylinders are installed on the closing and opening mechanism of the pliers.
The loading unit also has a retractable pneumatic mechanism for aligning the cylinder on the nose side.
The cylinders arrive with the male GOMG hook already screwed on, while the female GOMG one is naturally located on the painting machines hooks.
Once the cylinder is aligned, centered and sealed, thanks to a hydraulic cylinder the roller conveyor tilts up to 90 °. The structure is designed so that, rising vertically to 90 °, the male hook enters and interlocks with the female one.
The GOMG hooks are solid and designed to ensure the safety of the cylinder attachment.
Once hooked, the pliers open and the roller conveyor returns horizontally, empty, and waiting for the next cylinder.
The unloading unit has the same mechanisms as the loading unit and performs the same operations, obviously in reverse order.
The pliers of the unloading unit are equipped with protective rubber so as not to damage the paint just done.
The two units are independent so they can load and unload cylinders at the same time.
This solution of painting loading/unloading line is therefore faster than a robot and is cheaper and in addition it is more compact because having a limited reach to the service area does not require very large protected areas.
It is also a PLC controlled system so it does not require the intervention of a programmer specialized in robotics in case of maintenance or software changes.
The rubber rollers of our production in addition to having a duration equal to those in steel allow to reduce the noise pollution inside the factories.
The system includes a hydraulic unit.
