Big steel hand stamps are manual punches with large characters up to 15mm high and 1.5mm deep.
They can be made with both numbers and letters and special symbols.
This type of punch has the advantage of leaving a large and noticeable mark in applications requiring this property.
Their shape and therefore length is designed to improve safety, to reduce vibrations and stress on the hands and they have a particularly useful multidirectional typing system.
It is therefore not strictly necessary, as happens with traditional punches with a flat bottom, that the hammer is well aligned with the flat surface of the bottom of the punch in order to obtain a good marking.
